Congratulations! You have made it to the end of the RD Fit Challenge! This week, your challenge is to BEGIN YOUR MAINTENANCE PROGRAM. This is a great time to look back over your successes and setbacks throughout the challenge weeks. Look at what worked best for you and what you need to avoid. This is a great starting point for creating a sustainable health and wellness routine.
CHALLENGE: Establish a plan for maintaining your health. Make sure that you look at this maintenance plan as a lifestyle. Your healthy lifestyle should include sustainable eating habits and workout routines as well as measurable and achievable goals.
Your goals should be an even mix of quantitative (weight, inches etc) and qualitative (physical ability, how you feel about yourself) elements. Your quantitative goals may fluctuate based on events or seasons, but once you achieve a certain level of fitness or dedication to your well-being, your qualitative goals should remain pretty constant.
Try to make an annual health plan that is broken down into quarterly and monthly milestones as well as the daily and weekly actitivities you will take to get there.
